Netflix wanted to create a new & more efficient Studio Production Rollout website to replace the old one
The previous Studio Production Rollout website was based on a template resulting in low usability, poor conversion & lack of all necessary functions. So, I decided to develop an appealing and functional website that would require less time to maintain, be more user-friendly, and increase user trust.
At the onset of the project, Studio Production Rollout (SPR) had learning content in multiple locations. Up to that point, the team’s content could exist in Netflix Studio App Center, Edu & Engage and Discover. That made for 60 apps organized by 16 functional teams.
To provide a clearer learning experience, we wanted to create an SPR page within Discover Learning Management System. This would provide SPR with a scalable solution and would allow learners to easily discover, engage with, and consume content.

03 Inconsistent with Netflix branding and style guide
04 Poor website navigation. User must scroll to see all 100 subject cards
05 Lack of extremely important functionality for users to find much needed information and training materials

Results
This project challenged my skills in project management, decision-making, compliance, and LMS engineering; this drove me grow in each of those areas while striving to improve Netflix’s Studio Production Rollout site. Based on feedback from testing with over 20 departments and passive candidates, this was a critical UX update to their system. In the ensuing months, leadership has reported a 20% boost in productivity with dramatically decreased friction and confusion from users. This has lead to a broader and more efficient opportunity to deeply engage its users, which will lead to further enrichment and internal training for the global corporation.
